Quincy Woman with 8 DUI Convictions Caught Driving Drunk

A Quincy woman with eight previous DUI convictions was arrested yet again for driving drunk Wednesday.

61-year-old Konnie Kelly McCord appeared in Adams County Circuit Court Thursday. She was officially charged with aggravated DUI and driving with a revoked license.

Police reports indicate McCord was observed driving erratically on Interstate 172 Wednesday afternoon. She was pulled over just south of 36th and Broadway. At the time of her arrest, McCord reportedly had a blood alcohol level of .204 – the legal limit in Illinois is .08.

McCord is in the Adams County Jail on a-half-million-dollars bond. She is due back in court April 15.
