Quincy Woman Sentenced to Seven Years in Prison for Arson Fires
A Quincy woman was sentenced Thursday to the Illinois Department of Corrections on arson charges.
56 year old Lori Ann Thompson pleaded guilty in February to two counts of arson.
As a result, she was sentenced to a total of seven years in state prison.
Thompson is alleged to have started two residential fires, one in 2016 at a home on Waters Court and a second in 2018 at a home on Curved Creek.
As part of a plea deal, two counts of aggravated arson and four counts of residential arson were dropped.
