Quincy Shooting Under Investigation

Quincy Police are investigating a shooting in the 400 block of South Seventh. Officers were called to the scene at 9:50 Thursday night and arrived to find a 19-year-old male from Chicago with a single gunshot wound to the face. Police say the victim was taken to Blessing Hospital by ambulance and later transferred to a hospital in St. Louis.

Police say the suspect is a light skinned black male wearing dark clothing and a black hoodie.
