Quincy Shooting Investigation

(QUINCY)—Quincy Police are investigating a shooting incident that sent one man to the hospital for treatment.

Police were called to the Blessing Hospital emergency room at 12:05 this (WED) morning for a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim said he’d been in an altercation with an individual in the 500 block of North Seventh when he was shot in the leg.

Police describe the suspect as a white male in his late 20s or early 30s with a bald head and a goatee. The suspect was dressed in black and fled the area on foot.
