Quincy Senior Center Phone Scam Report

(QUINCY)—Quincy Police are warning of another scam. Police say they’ve received reports from elderly citizens complaining of calls from someone claiming to be from the “Senior Center” and telling people they’re eligible for a free Life Line and three thousand dollars in food coupons. Quincy Police say neither the Senior Center nor Life Line are involved and that this does appear to be a scam. Life Line indicates to police that they do not make cold calls.
