The Quincy Salvation Army kicks off its Tree of Lights fundraising campaign Thursday night.

This year’s campaign chairpersons, Quincy Public Schools Superintendent Roy Webb and his wife Trisha, announced that, for the second year, a $400,000 goal has been set for this year’s campaign.

The campaign supports outreach programs and services provided by the Salvation Army in Adams County and west central Illinois.

Last week, the Hannibal Salvation Army announced a $100,000 goal for their Tree of Lights effort.
