A Quincy man who had been reported missing has let his family know he’s OK. 

Quincy Police say 22 year old Ted Allen McGlaughlin had last been seen leaving a residence on West Valley View August 11th. Family reported him missing August 16th.

Family members informed police Monday night that McGlaughlin had reached out to them to let them know he’s alright. Quincy Police say McGlaughlin is no longer considered a missing person.

ORIGINAL QPD PRESS RELEASE

QPD is requesting assistance in locating a missing adult/endangered. Ted Allen McGlaughlin (22) was last seen by family leaving 2530 W. Valley View on foot around 7 PM on Monday, 08-11-14. McGlaughlin is 5-4, 120 lbs. with brown hair and blue eyes. He has a tattoo of a dragon on his inner left forearm that is blue, green and black in color. He also has a tattoo on the outside of his left leg and the word, "Patricia" tattooed on his right leg. He may have facial hair. Family members state McGlaughlin is suicidal. He was reported missing on 08-16-14. Attached photos show McGlaughlin wearing glasses but family state his glasses are broken.
