(QUINCY)—A Quincy woman faces methamphetamine related charges following her arrest by agents of the West Central Illinois Task Force,  Quincy Police and the Adams County Sheriff’s department.

Authorities used a search warrant at 114 ½ South 7th in Quincy at 6:45 Monday evening. 32-year-old Brandy Payne was arrested for unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Authorities say an adult male at the residence complained of a medical issue and was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment. A juvenile at the residence was turned over to a family member and the matter was reported to the Department of Children and Family Services.
