Quincy Man Receives 7 Year Sentence for Robbery

A plea deal results in a 7-year prison sentence for 24 year-old Arlo Pernell Jr. Pernell was arrested in January on charges he robbed two female victims along Broadway in Quincy.

He pleaded guilty in Adams County Circuit Court Thursday to one count of Aggravated Robbery. In return for the guilty plea, three other charges-- Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Battery and Retail Theft were dropped.

Pernell’s 7-year sentence will be reduced by the 92 days spent in the Adams County Jail since his arrest.
