Quincy Man Faces Attempted Murder Charge

A Quincy man is in custody on attempted murder and aggravated battery with a firearm charges.
Quincy Police say the charges against 29 year old Louis Jenkins result from a shooting in the Country club Heights apartment complex early Sunday morning. Quincy Police were called to an apartment in the 3100 block of State at 5:01 Sunday morning on a report of shots fired. Jenkins was arrested at 1:05 this (MON) morning. Police found one male victim shot inside an apartment and suffering from non life threatening wounds. Police say the investigation continues an additional arrests are possible.  Police say this does not appear to be a random act and they ask that you contact Quincy Police or Quincy Regional Crime Stoppers if you have information on this incident.
