A Quincy man is in custody following his arrest late Sunday night for DUI and several other charges.
Quincy Police say 28 year old James Palmer was arrested near 3rd and Gardner Expressway at 11:43 p-m. Officers say Palmer is also charged with running seven stop signs… improper lane usage and aggravated fleeing to elude. Police say Palmer fled a traffic stop at 9th and Jersey. He was located a short time later. Police say no traffic crashes are associated with the incident but that his car sustained damage to the undercarriage when it bottomed out while traveling at a high rate of speed. Palmer was taken to the Adams County Jail.
