Quincy Man Arrested in Vehicle Burglary

A Quincy man faces theft and charges of burglary to a motor vehicle.

Quincy Police say an officer observed 53 year old Kent Humphrey of Quincy in the passenger compartment of a vehicle at 22nd and Sycamore at 1:39 this (THU) morning. Officers observed that the windshield was broken and attempted to make contact with Humphrey. He was taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit. Police determined that the vehicle was stolen and items taken from the vehicle were found in Humphrey’s possession. Humphrey is held in the Adams County Jail.
