Quincy Man Arrested in Sunday Night Shooting Incident

A Quincy man is arrested in connection with a shooting incident late Sunday night.

Quincy Police were called to the 900 block of Washington Street just before 10 p.m. Sunday on a report of a shooting.

Officers and emergency personnel found a 38 year old male with a gunshot wound to the neck.

The victim was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Police arrested 25 year old Dalton Davis for reckless discharge of a firearm.

The initial investigation led officers to believe the shooting was accidental.

Davis is lodged in the Adams County Jail.
