Quincy Man Arrested for Sexual Exploitation of a Child and Public Indecency

Quincy police say they've taken a 47-year-old man into custody following a complaint of an individual exposing himself and performing lewd acts across from Transitions School for the Learning Disabled.

According to a release from the Quincy Police Department, officers were called to the 100 block of North 8th on Thursday morning and observed the suspect running from the scene. Officers set up a perimeter and conducted a search, which resulted in the suspect being found hiding in a bush.

Police say Larry Joseph Ryan Jr. was arrested for the offenses of Sexual Exploitation of a Child and Public Indecency Within 500 Feet of a School - both Class 4 Felonies. He was taken to the Adams County Jail.
