The Quincy Mall is undergoing a name change.

Officials with Cullinan Properties announced Wednesday the rebranding of the facility, now to be known as Quincy Town Center.

In making the announcement, officials said the new identity reflects a fresh image and direction for the next chapter of the property, acknowledging Quincy Medical Group, Slumberland and VIP Cinemas as anchors for the center, allowing for growth of a broad mix of quality local and national tenants and user types.

The property at 33rd and Broadway has been a shopping destination since 1958 when the Legion Town and Country Shopping Center first opened. The facility was enclosed and became the Quincy Mall in 1978.
