Quincy Art Center’s Mary S. Oakley & Lee Lindsay Artists Showcase – Call for Entries

Artists living within a 50-mile radius of Quincy are invited to compete in the upcoming Mary S. Oakley & Lee Lindsay Artists Showcase at the Quincy Art Center. The juried exhibition will open on Saturday, December 7 and be on display through January 19, 2014. 

Artwork submitted to the showcase will be accepted between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. November 17 - 20 at the Quincy Art Center, 1515 Jersey. The list of works accepted for the Mary S. Oakley & Lee Lindsay Artists Showcase will be published to the Quincy Art Center's website on Wednesday, November 27.

The Mary S. Oakley & Lee Lindsay Artists Showcase is open to artists 18 and older living within a 50-mile radius of Quincy, or artists living outside the region that belong to the Quincy Artist Guild or Great River Watercolor Society. A limit of three pieces may be submitted. The entry fee is $25 for two works, and an additional $5 for a third. All artwork must fit through a standard double doorway. Maximum dimensions are 6' for width, height and depth.

Wall-hung work must be framed and/or equipped with hanging devices. All other work must be ready to install.

Awards will be issued for:

• Best of Show $1000
• Second Place $300
• Third Place $200
• Merit Award (3) $100
• Honorable Mention (4) $50
• People’s Choice Award
