Quincy Alderman Support Illinois 57 Upgrades

Quincy City Council members pass a resolution supporting modernization of Illinois 57.
The proposed modernization includes making the highway four lanes.. a bypass of Marblehead and raising the pavement at Marblehead. The Adams County Board will also be discussing the proposal at their next meeting. The plan will be forwarded to the state of Illinois.
