(Quincy, Ill)—Although Thursday’s inclement weather resulted in the cancellation of several Cape Air flights out of Quincy Regional Airport, officials remain optimistic the 10,000 passenger boarding goal can be reached by year’s end. The 10,000 mark is significant because it means eligibility for a one-million dollar federal grant.  Cape Air recently cut its fare for selected St. Louis flights to $39 to increase ridership.
