Probable cause was found Wednesday in the case of a Quincy man in connection with an incident at a convenience store in August.

The case of 29 year old Perry Adams will proceed, with arraignment set for October 4th.

Adams is charged with aggravated assault and possession of methamphetamine.

Adams is alleged to have threatened the owner of the convenience store on South 6th with an Airsoft pistol when the owner refused to reopen the store so Adams could buy beer and cigarettes.

Adams was arrested a short time later at his home at 524 Van Buren.
A search of Adams’ home revealed a glass pipe used to inhale meth.

Adams is free on bond.
