The Quincy teenager accused of killing a Quincy man last month was in court for a preliminary hearing Tuesday.

16 year old Roger Parker, Jr. appeared in court for the first time with his court appointed attorney.

Parker is charged with three counts of first degree murder in the shooting death of 18 year old Darrell Kelley, Jr. on September 26th.

Parker is alleged to have shot Kelley multiple times at a residence in the 600 block of Sycamore. Kelley was pronounced dead a short time later at Blessing Hospital.

Judge Amy Lannerd scheduled Parker’s next preliminary hearing for October 21st.
