Pike County IL Sex Offender Arrested

An investigation leads to the arrest of a Baylis, Illinois man.

The Pike County Sheriff’s Office received reports in October of 2019 that 54 year old Ron Troxell, a registered sex offender from Adams County, had attended a holiday event in which children were present.

Troxell was taken into custody on warrants for participation in a holiday event by a child sex offender and obstructing justice.

Troxell is in the Pike County Jail on $12,000 bond awaiting a court appearance.
