A warrant was issued Sunday, June 23, by the Circuit Court of Marion County charging 27 year old Jamie L. Walker, of Monroe City, with Robbery First Degree. Bond was set at $100, 000.00 cash only. Walker was also arrested on a Monroe County warrant for Violating a Court Order. Walker remains in the Marion County Jail. Also arrested on Saturday (June 22) were 36 year old Misty Evette Williams and 42 year old Scott Colbert, both of Hannibal, on charges of Interfering with the Investigation. No warrants have been issued on Williams and Colbert at this time.

Officers with the Hannibal Police Department responded to a report of a robbery Saturday afternoon at Pic-A-Dilly Quik Stop located at 3531 Market Street. The call came in at 3:43 pm.The caller reported that a black male came into the store and demanded money and fled on foot. According to reports the suspect displayed a handgun during the incident. The suspect escaped with an un-disclosed amount of cash. No one was injured during the incident however, an employee at the business was transported to Hannibal Regional Hospital by ambulance afterwards for stress related medical issues.

At 5:23 pm officers took into custody a subject believed to be the suspect involved in the incident at a residence on Center Street. Further information concerning this incident will be released at later time as it is deemed appropriate.

A criminal charge is merely an allegation and the defendant is, of course, presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
