Perry Resident Seriously Injured

(Perry, Mo)--A Perry woman sustains serious injuries after a motorcycle wreck Saturday at 9:45 pm.  The Missouri State Patrol reports 40 year old Leah Berry was a passenger on a motorcycle driven by 41 year old David Berry when their bike veered out of control on U.S. 24, 3.5 miles west of Paris.  Both occupants were thrown from the bike after losing control on loose gravel.  Leah Berry was reportedly crawling across the roadway after the accident when she was struck by two oncoming cars.  David Berry sustained moderate injuries. Both were taken to University Hospital in Columbia.
