ST. LOUIS (AP) - St. Louis manager Mike Matheny was ejected by
home plate umpire Kerwin Danley in the first inning of Saturday's
game against Kansas City. The umpiring crew, after a three-minute
conference at Busch Stadium, ruled that St. Louis pitcher Joe Kelly
did not catch a line drive from Eric Hosmer. Danley was ejected for
arguing the call.
