Pedestrian Injured Crossing McMasters

(HANNIBAL)—Hannibal Police say a 14-year-old girl was injured at 2:43 Wednesday afternoon as she attempted to cross McMasters Avenue at Washita.

Police say it appears the female stepped into the path of a truck. Witnesses say the truck swerved but the girl was struck by the mirror and the front tire.

She was taken from the scene by Marion County Ambulance. Police say the injuries did not appear to be life threatening. No citations were issued following the accident.
