Pedestrian Charged After Being Hit by a Car

A Quincy woman faces charges after she was struck by a car in the 1000 block of State at 7:05 Tuesday evening.

Quincy Police say 39-year-old Angie Lockwood was crossing the street from her parked vehicle and talking on her cell phone when she walked into the path of an eastbound vehicle. Lockwood was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.

Police ticketed Lockwood for Illegal Pedestrian Use of the Roadway.
