The public gets its first look at what the new bridge across the Mississippi River at Louisiana will look like at a meeting in Louisiana Thursday.
According to Missouri Department of Transportation Area Engineer Brian Haeffner, the meeting takes place at the Twin Pike YMCA on Kelly Lane from 4 to 6 p.m. Representatives of MODOT and Massman Construction will be on hand to answer questions. There will also be renderings of what the new bridge will look like.
Haeffner says there will also be a job fair for those who would like to be a part of the new Champ Clark Bridge project.
The job fair runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., also at the Twin Pike YMCA.
