One Dead following Shooting on North 4th in Quincy

Quincy Police say one man is dead following a shooting late Monday night.

Officers were called to a residence in the 700 block of North Fourth at 11:45 for a gunshot victim. Police arrived to find a male victim in his mid 40s dead at the scene with an apparent gunshot wound. An investigation is ongoing.

Police say the incident does not appear to be a random act.
