Charges have been refiled against the father and stepmother of the man convicted of the shooting death of a Quincy boy last year.

Adams County State’s Attorney Jon Barnard announced Friday the refiling of charges of four counts of obstruction of justice against 42 year old Stefan Crider, Jr and 40 year old Julia Crider.

The Criders are alleged to have provided Steson Crider and Stefan Crider III with cash and a vehicle to leave the state after the shooting death of 12 year old Ray Humphrey, Jr. on March 28th, 2015.

Charges had been dropped against the Criders so the state could focus on Steson Crider’s first degree murder trial. A jury found Steson guilty last October and he was sentenced to 65 years in prison.

Obstruction of justice charges that had been dropped against Stefan Crider III have not been refiled.

Stefan, Jr. and Julia are scheduled to appear in court August 25th.
