Now I Can Pay Off the House!!

So how much money did you win last Friday night?

We here in the office got caught up in the Mega Millions insanity Friday. Now, in the interest of full disclosure, I try to buy a Mega Millions and/or Powerball ticket whenever the jackpot gets over $50 million. So, when one of our Ad Reps came to me Friday morning and asked if I wanted to get in on an office Mega Millions pool, at first I told him no thanks, I had already bought a ticket. But then, I says to myself (Self, I Says), wait a minute ... I don't want to be the only one in the office Monday morning. So, 20 of us each kicked in two bucks, and forty Mega Millions tickets were purchased. Then, word came Saturday that there were three winners, and none of them were from Hannibal. But, then, we found out we had won something. This morning, the much anticipated news came ... we were all richly by the princely sum of (wait for it...) 55 cents. So, those dreams of having more money than you know what to do with will go on hold for another day. And remember, you can't win if you don't play.
