Nine Year Old Hit By Car near 6th and Hampshire

(QUINCY)—A nine year old girl is recovering from minor injuries after being struck by a car in the 500 block of Hampshire at 6:55 Monday evening. Quincy Police say the girl was treated and released at Blessing Hospital. The driver was ticketed for operating an uninsured vehicle and released on a notice to appear. Police say the girl was crossing the street about 75 feet west of the 6th and Hampshire intersection.
