Fire late Thursday morning leaves a house at 12600 Thornberry Road in New London a total loss.
Hannibal Rural and New London firefighters arrived to find fire coming from the front windows. Reports indicate the homeowner was working outside when he noticed smoke coming from the roof and eaves. Firefighters brought the blaze under control in about 45 minutes. An investigator from the Missouri Division of Fire Safety was called in. Cause of the fire is undetermined at this time. No injuries are reported.
