New Healthcare Perk Comes to Hannibal Company

Another area company has embraced a growing trend in managing healthcare costs for employees. 

The Watlow Company recently announced the opening of an on-site medical clinic at its manufacturing facility in Hannibal. The Health and Wellness Center utilizes a nurse practitioner with oversight provided by a local supervising physician.

Watlow officials say the company has plans to open on-site clinics at its other locations as well.

In 2014, Knapheide Manufacturing Company opened an employee wellness center in Quincy.
