Health department officials in Hancock and Pike counties in Illinois reported new confirmed cases of COVID-19 Tuesday.

In Pike County, officials reported two additional lab confirmed coronavirus cases – both females in their 20s.

The Pike County COVID total is now 102, with 17 active cases.

The Hancock County Health Department and Memorial Hospital in Carthage reported one new lab confirmed coronavirus case Tuesday, a male in his 40s to 50s. He is recovering at home and is not connected to another positive case.

There have now been 178 COVID cases in Hancock County, with 20 active cases, 155 recoveries and three deaths.
