On Wednesday, March 18, 2015, the Northeast Missouri Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant at the residence of Shandall Hickman and Kelsey Bugh located at 302 South 4th Street, Canton, Missouri. The Task Force was assisted by the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office and the Canton Police Department. This residence is located next to the Happy Time Daycare Facility and within the same block as the Canton R-V School.

During the execution of the search warrant, an active “one-pot” clandestine methamphetamine lab was found along with other items used to manufacture methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Arrested at the scene were Shandall Hickman, Kelsey Bugh, Dale Hickman and Jerril Humphrey. They were placed on a 24 hour hold and transported to the Lewis County Jail.

On March 19, 2015, the Lewis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Shandall Hickman and Kelsey Bugh with a Class A Felony of Attempt to Manufacture a Controlled Substance, and a Class C Felony of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Dale Hickman was charged with a Class B Felony of Conspiracy to Attempt to Manufacture a Controlled Substance. Humphrey was released and has not been charged at this time. Bonds were set at $50,000.00 cash only.

All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
