Officials report that mosquitoes tested in Adams County this week have tested positive for West Nile Virus.

The Adams County Health Department reports that mosquitoes collected Wednesday in Quincy tested positive for West Nile.

Testing for West Nile Virus involves lab tests for mosquito batches and dead birds like crows, blue jays and robins, along with testing horses and humans with virus-like symptoms.
