Monroe City Man Pleads Guilty to Child Molestation Charges

A Monroe City man pleads guilty Thursday to child molestation charges in Monroe County Circuit Court.

34 year old Aaron Rueder pleaded guilty to three counts of first degree child molestation in connection with events that occurred between May of 2011 and August of 2015.

Rueder is alleged to have had sexual contact with a child less than 14 years old on multiple occasions.

According to Monroe County Prosecutor Talley Kendrick, Rueder could face up to 45 years in prison.

Sentencing is set for April 7th.
