Missouri Woman Arrested in Gardner Museum Burglary

One woman is in custody following a break-in early this morning at the Gardner Museum at 332 Maine.

Quincy Police responded to a glass break alarm and arrived to find a window on the northwest side of the building had been broken with a large rock. Officers immediately found 31-year-old Sommer Young of Warrensburg inside the building removing items from the museum.

Young was taken into custody on burglary charges and is held in the Adams County Jail.
