Missouri Unemployment Rate Drops

(Jefferson City, Mo)--Missouri's unemployment rate has dropped to its lowest level since October 2008. The Department of Economic Development calculates it as 6.7 percent, a full point lower than the national figure. The department says Missouri's rate has been lower than the national rate for 39 straight months.
