It's no secret that many still covet the fancy Rolex watches, but two thieves admitted to taking that desire to extremes as they 'smashed and grabbed' many of those watches in Missouri then made matters worse by crossing state lines with their prizes.

CBS News is reporting that two individuals from Michigan have confessed in court to the theft of Rolex watches in Missouri. They say that Kordaryl Cross, 25 and Dajuan Marcellus, 34 both pled guilty to the charge of conspiracy to commit interstate transportation of stolen property in an Eastern District Missouri Court.

The scheme in early January of 2024 included reportedly stealing a truck in Brentwood, Missouri then traveling to a jewelry store in Ellisville, Missouri and using sledgehammers to smash open windows to grab the Rolex watches. The US Attorney's office said they then got rid of the truck and traveled to Illinois with the stolen Rolexes.

Both men will be sentenced later this year for their crimes which reportedly could result in "a maximum penalty of five years in prison, a $250,000 fine, or both" according to CBS News.
