Missouri Prop B Campaign in Hannibal
(HANNIBAL)—A school bus tour in support of passage of a hike in Missouri’s cigarette tax came through Hannibal late Thursday afternoon.If passed, Proposition B would increase cigarette taxes by 73 cents per pack in Missouri.
A truck towing a large sign paid for by the Missouri Petroleum Marketing Council and opposing Prob B circled Central Park during Thursday’s tour stop. Misty Snodgrass, a spokesperson for Proposition B, says the truck has been following them throughout their tour.
