Missouri Highway Patrol troopers report issuing 21 citations and 81 warnings during DWI saturation patrols in Ralls, Marion and Randolph Counties earlier this month. Troopers were on the lookout for impaired drivers and other traffic violations that contribute to traffic crashes. The highway patrol says there were no DWI arrests during the increased patrol. However, there were ten citations for seat belt violations, six citations were issued for speeding. Troopers cited two drivers for non moving violations and two for driver’s license violations. The extra enforcement in Ralls and Marion Counties was in effect from 4 until 8 p-m on Saturday. The extra enforcement in Randolph County occurred on February 7th.
