Missouri Amazon Driver May Have Been Mauled to Death by Dogs

Authorities aren't certain, but it appears that a Missouri Amazon driver that was found dead Monday night may have been mauled to death by dogs.

Yahoo News broke the news about this driver who was found dead near the delivery vehicle somewhere in Ray County, Missouri. The Ray County Sheriff's Department has not released the name of the driver pending notification of family.

As Wikipedia notes, fatal attacks by dogs are rare with an average of 30 to 50 per year based on the data shared. The most recent fatal attacks in the tri-state area included a Rossie, Iowa woman who was killed by her 5 Great Danes on August 15, 2022 and a 66-year-old Kewanee, Illinois man who killed on April 25, 2022 when he tried to break up a fight between his dog and another.
