Where will you go when the you-know-what hits the fan? More and more people are saying that Missouri is a good destination and there are a lot of reasons to believe they're right. I'll attempt to explain.

If "prepping" is a new concept for you, it's a process where an individual or family begins storing food and basic life necessities in the event that a crisis hits. It doesn't have to be an end of the world type of scenario. Some prep for something as simple as a major earthquake. It's preparation when you sense that trouble is coming. It's not exactly breaking news with what's happened in the world the past couple years, there are a lot of people believing even bigger trouble is coming.

I've seen Missouri mentioned on several prepper websites and YouTube channels as a prime destination. This is just one of them.

Interesting mentions of Missouri's growing season and the population's knowledge of living off the land. Many areas that don't feature large metro areas are also a plus if you're wanting to prepare for a crisis and a potential breakdown of society.

There is one Missouri family who has shared their prepper process on YouTube. They've packed away quite a bit of food.

If your spider senses are telling you bigger trouble is coming, you could do a lot worse than making plans in Missouri. Even for a minor emergency, a little preparation isn't a bad idea.
