Mickels Pleads Not Guilty in Home Invasion Case

A Hannibal woman pleads not guilty Thursday to multiple charges in connection with a Quincy home invasion case.

32 year old Katie Mickels is charged with home invasion, aggravated battery and possession of meth.

Mickels is alleged to have fled the scene of a traffic crash on North 12th Street on foot the night of August 2nd.

Later that night, Quincy Police received a report from a woman in the 1400 block of North 15th that a woman had entered her home and battered her.

Mickels was taken into custody in the 15th and Locust area a short time later.

Mickels’ case was placed on the October jury trial docket.
