A Ewing man gets prison time after pleading guilty Friday to charges filed in connection with two 2013 Quincy robberies.
23 year old James Meredith pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated robbery and was sentenced to nine years in prison by Judge Scott Larson.
Meredith is alleged to have robbed the Hy-Vee gas station at 14th and Harrison and the Chelsea on Gardner Expressway.
Meredith’s partner in the Chelsea robbery, 24 year old Adam Morrall of Hannibal, had originally been sentenced to probation, but later got 13 years in prison for violating his probation.
