Marthasville Trucker Dies in Pike County Crash

A Marthasville, Missouri trucker died from injuries suffered in a single vehicle crash on Highway 61 just south of Bowling Green at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The Highway Patrol reports 55-year-old David Liesmann was northbound when he lost control of his semi on a curve. His rig ran off the road and overturned.

Liesmann was pronounced dead at the scene by Pike County Emergency Personnel.
