Marion County Man in Custody after Weekend Manhunt

A Marion County man is in custody following a manhunt over the weekend.

Officials with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and the Missouri Highway Patrol report they had been looking for 19 year old Jaron Richards since Saturday afternoon.

He was taken into custody shortly after 4 p.m. Sunday and taken to the Marion County Jail.

Richards had been wanted for resisting arrest in Marion and Ralls counties, as well as a probation and parole warrant for resisting arrest.
