Man Arrested After Knife Attack in Quincy
One man is in custody after Quincy Police respond to a report of a male bleeding heavily from the face at an apartment at 401 Cherry.
The call came in around 12:30 p.m. Saturday. Officers determined that a 22-year-old male had been slashed across the face with a steak knife. The victim was transported to Blessing Hospital with a non-life threatening injury.
Police arrested 48-year-old Raymond Moore of Quincy about a half-hour later near 10th and Chestnut. Moore was taken to Blessing Hospital for a medical evaluation unrelated to the domestic dispute.
Police searched the area and recovered two knives on a porch in the 800 block of Chestnut.
Moore is charged with Aggravated Domestic Battery.
