Luther Manor Celebrates Milestone

(Hannibal)—A few raindrops did not seem to dampen spirits during Saturday’s 40th anniversary celebration at Hannibal’s Luther Manor Retirement and Nursing Center.  Administrator Sharon Moore says approximately 75 employees serve residents in 18 independent living apartments and a 64-bed skilled nursing facility.  Moore says a new addition was just completed in 2011 featuring an expanded activity and therapy area, more resident kitchen space and 4 additional private rooms.
Sharon Moore says additional improvements are just around the corner…including a much needed parking lot expansion and sidewalk improvements.
Attendees of Luther Manor’s 40th anniversary celebration enjoyed pony rides, games, and a bounce house for the kids, as well as food, refreshments, live entertainment by the Kevin Morris band, and fireworks at dusk.
